My name is Ben and I am the head therapist for Core Injury Clinic and the team Sports Therapist for Staffordshire County RFU covering all the age ranges from Under 16's to veterans and for Eccleshall Rugby Club. I professionally trained at Staffordshire University attaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy (2009 - 2012). Previous to my time at Staffordshire University I gained experience working with semi-professional football team, Kidderminster Harriers and their physiotherapist. Whilst studying I gained pitch side experience with the Staffordshire University mens football and rugby teams on a weekly basis. Post study, I gained further experience in working with private clients ranging from office workers, builders all the way to retired individuals.''
As a therapist and company Core Injury Clinic believes in the 'hands on' approach in every step of the rehabilitation process, from the initial consultation to full rehabilitation. Each client has a tailor made plan providing each individual with effective rehabilitation treatments and/or deep tissue massage.
''Our aim is to provide an affordable, approachable and easily accessible injury assessment, rehabilitation and deep tissue massage clinic. To return each client to full functional ability in a safe and regularly assessed time frame to suit each individual.''
My name is Rosie and I am a recent graduate of Staffordshire University, attaining a 2:1 honours BSc in Sports Therapy.
Throughout my time studying at university, I gained valuable experience in the University Sports Therapy Clinic, I also took the opportunity to work alongside other professional therapist's at Burton Albion on my final year placement. My background in sport has allowed me to develop a wide skill set ranging from pitch-side first aid to musculoskeletal sport injuries.
Prior to my studies I worked as a swimming teacher and coach. My involvement in sport instilled a passion to learn more about the physical performance and the dynamics of the human body.
As a therapist I understand the importance of taking a "hands on" approach when supporting a client through the full rehabilitation process.
